Hiding system-protected files from your Samsung phone

If you just want to clear your folders or if you are just bothered seeing those files around which you actually don't use, then you may find this tutorial useful.
What you need:
1. BlueFTP
2. jpg files for deleting the protected wallpapers
3. mp3 files for deleting the protected alert and ring tones

DELETING WALLPAPERS
The 3 protected wallpapers in your Corby 2 as you can see are in jpg format.
Get any 3 unprotected jpg files and paste them inside the location of the protected wallpapers (Images folder). Save them on your phone memory.
Exit My Files and run BlueFTP from your phone.
Locate the 3 jpg files. (My Photo)
Now we need to duplicate the protected wallpapers. To do this, we need to rename the 3 jpg files you pasted inside Images folder. Their new names should be exactly the same as the protected wallpapers. So Wallpaper 01.jpg, Wallpaper 02.jpg Wallpaper 03.jpg
After doing this, go back to My Files. Select all and delete. 3 images will be left upon first delete so you need to delete again. Tap on select all and delete. Done.

Same method applies to deleting alert tones and ring tones, just use mp3 files for them.

removing them is just a waste of time. even you delete them, the memory is still the same, as if you did not delete something

You can delete games and other stuff using TK File Explorer

Only those in My Files you chose to deleted will be deleted.

can i upgrade my samsung corby 2 to android os froyo?

It will affect your phone's performance if you go beyond the limit, assuming that the two fonts support all characters which means they are large in file size. (over 2mb)
