The much awaited tutorial for installing fonts for Samsung Corby 2 has been released just a few hours ago.
The requirements:
1. TK File Explorer
2. Fonts in ttf format- You can also Google some fonts of your choice. Just make sure they are in ttf (TrueType) format. Other formats have not been tested yet.
3. Samsung USB Driver- No need to install PC Studio Kies.Restart your PC after installing this.
NOTE: The maximum number of fonts you can add is only 2. Don't go beyond that if you don't want to slow down your phone.

ERROR: Communication link is lost
I once had this error in my first try and I immediately found a solution to this problem.
Follow the instructions below:
1.Just to make sure, disable MTP screen block. You can do this by going to keypad and type *#6870#
You can re-enable it again by typing the same code after installing the fonts.
2.Right click on My Computer, select Manage and the Computer Management window will appear.
3.Under System tools, click Device manager.
4.Look for Modems and expand it by click the arrow on its left. You will see Samsung Mobile USB Modem. Right click on it and select Properties.
5.Click the Modem tab and you will see your Port number below.
6. Watch the video for instructions in installing the fonts.
Enjoy! Just restart your phone after applying a font if it doesn't take effect right away.

i followed all the steps hazel it still wont connect...

hey nany, if the samsung modems won't show up on the device manager, does that mean that the USB data cable doesn't work? what's the best connector should I use? I don't have a samsung data cable :(

First u have check tht mtp is blocked by using *#6870# and u can connect your mobile by using another company data cable be sure tht drivers of ur phone or pc suite or samsung kies is installed in ur system and if again problem comes then ur window is corrupt so change ur window immediately....i hope this will be helpful for u...
