You currently have two easy options to do it. You have the choice to do it via text message or you can call their hotline which is 200 from your Sun phone and you will be given assistance by their customer service representative . Activation using any of these methods is free of charge.
In my opinion, using the text message method is more convenient. So to start the activation process, simply text ACTIVATE to 2300. If in case you don't get a reply from them (it happens sometimes), don't worry. There is another alternative-- manual configuration. Click here to view the instructions provided by Sun Cellular. You'll have to Select the phone manufacturer which is Samsung and the handset model which is S3850. It's in alphabetical order so you won't have a hard time with it :D Then click on Search and you will be given an xls file which is readable by Microsoft Excel. Just follow the instructions and you'll have your sim activated successfully. If manual configuration doesn't work, I would advise you to dial 200 from your Sun phone :) Good luck!
